TOPS/PLANNER

GUI based graphic planning tool for apparel manufacturers
exclusively for the sewing operation. It assists the user
by providing visual means of allocating and scheduling production
orders. The PLANNER benefits the user to quickly react to
customer demands and meeting their tight delivery schedules.
In short, TOPS/PLANNER ensures your capacity to be optimised
across all production lines in real time.
TOPS/PLANNER calculates factory production capacity on the
SMV of the style, line capacity, efficiency % of the line,
absentism % in the line, learning curve and calendar. The
PLANNER can be used alongside TOPS/ERP or separately to integrate
with your own ERP system.

Planning Board functions
Capacity
Any number of factories and production lines can be defined.
Number of Production lines within Factory, Number of operators
or machines at the production line level or to a perticular
order style can also be defined.
Order
Defines a particular style for production and its specific
delivery dates. An order can be split and distributed to one
or more factories or lines.
Drag and Drop
Orders can be loaded on to a particular line by dragging a
strip with the help of the mouse. Each order can be split
into multiple lines.
Startup Allowance or Learning Curve
Efficiency levels can be defined by the user. TOPS/ PLANNER
will calculate the daily production based on efficiency levels.
Every product manufactured can have a different learning curve.
Parameters
From the parameters defined, the system automatically provides
accurate time periods for a given quantity, or shows the maximum
quantity possible for a given date, based on available capacity.
Plan vs Actual
A comparison between Plan Vs Actuals can be made for a given
order.
Flexible Calendar
Any number of calendars may be defined so that calendar can
be applied to the specific factory or production line
